One week ago we missed a record high by 1 degree with a high of 94. Today we could tie or break another record…record cold high temperature which is 62 from 1986 and 1876. Not the best way to start July but this can only mean that the rest of the month is beautiful. Highs today will be in the lower 60s with clouds and periods of drizzle gradually ending before evening.
Lows tonight will drop back into the lower 50s with the sky gradually clearing which means sunshine tomorrow! Just a few clouds are expected tomorrow afternoon with light winds and highs in the low to mid 70s..still below normal, but very nice.
Warmer air returns for the weekend with sunshine and highs near 80 Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The winds will be light so that allows the lake breeze to develop in the afternoon and cool the lakefront into the upper 60s, but the sun will be out.
There is just a very slight chance of light rain Friday evening and Sunday morning, but it is very slight..otherwise we look dry until late next week…we actually need rain.
