Rain's Over, Clouds Linger
The weather system that brought us rain over the past few days is now weaker and far enough away that we won't get any rain today. Still, it remains close enough that it will keep us mostly cloudy. Clouds won't brought up significantly until around mid-morning tomorrow. After that, it will be partly cloudy and mild through the rest of the weekend. The rain ends in Milwaukee...now here comes the mild air !
Tonight's rainfall around Milwaukee will be very light and widely scattered, ending by 3 or 4 am. The clouds will stick around most of the day on Friday and temperatures will soar into the lower fifties. There should be a bit more sunshine on Saturday and temperatures will continue to be mild. The slow moving storm system continues to dominate Milwaukee’s weather with cloudy, mild temperatures and light rain and drizzle. Highs in Milwaukee and SE Wisconsin will be in the upper 40s again today and the winds will be light. Lots of Clouds, Only a Little Rain
While we'll have occasional light rain or drizzle today, it looks like it will NOT be raining far more of the time than it will be. Rain totals today will likely be no more than a few hundredths of an inch. While the threat for rain will end tonight, considerable cloud cover will linger through tomorrow. The normal high temperature is in the low to mid 40s right now. There are more clouds in the forecast for Thursday in Milwaukee and under the clouds a few more widely scattered showers. The rain will wind down tomorrow with most showers mainly in the morning hours. The clouds will stick around on Friday also, but the good news is that the wind will turn southwest and keep mild conditions across the Milwaukee area. The slow moving storm system has finally arrived and expect occasional light rain in Milwaukee today with highs in the upper 40s and an east wind at 10-20mph. Rain showers are likely tonight and tomorrow in Milwaukee and throughout SE Wisconsin so keep umbrellas close by. We are not expecting heavy rain, but drizzle to light rain will be common in the Milwaukee area. Plodding Weather System Arrives
A weather system has been lurking south of Wisconsin for the past several days. It's tortoise-like speed has led to some pretty hefty rain amounts in Illinois and Missouri earlier this week. The system is finally going to make it's impact felt across southern Wisconsin today and tomorrow, however it is much weaker than it was previously. While it will bring us occasional light rain from now through early tomorrow night, amounts will be relaltively low. Clouds and a few showers settle in...
A slow moving storm system in southern Illinois will crawl northward for the next two days bringing scattered light rain showers to the Milwaukee area. The clouds and showers will be around at times both Wednesday and Thursday. Temperatures will stay mild in the mid to upper-forties on both days in Milwaukee. The wind will still be a bit brisk on Wednesday but subside a bit on Thursday.
