I wish I could assure you that you won't get rained on on the 4th of July. I can't. I can tell you that they threat is rather low. Plus, if there is rain in the area it does not appear the kind of rain that will fall all day. Instead, the threat is for scattered showers...the on and off kind of showers. The clouds are finally moving out tonight and the extra sunshine on Friday will allow things to heat up a bit. We should see partly cloudy skies over the next few days with a chance for an isolated thunderstorm late in the afternoon on the 4th. Temperatures begin to warm on Thursday with high temperatures in the seventies on Thursday and right around eighty degrees both Friday and Saturday the 4th of July. The cool air wrapping around a big low pressure system over Lake Huron will bring clouds and cooler conditions to the area on Wednesday. There may still be a few light showers around on Wednesday afternoon and evening. The warm up starts on Thursday with winds turning southerly and high temperatures jumping back into the low-seventies. The temperatures jump to eightiy degrees on Friday and Saturday, just in time for the holiday weekend. »Read Full Blog Post
One week ago it was 89 and very humid…how things change. Today will be like what most of June has been like…cloudy and cool with highs in the mid to upper 60s and a brisk NW wind at 10-20…at least the wind is diminishing from the past few days.
